You`d better contact to these guys https://clearit.ca/services/non-resident-importing and be sure of their competence and qualification. They can if the gun is legal in Canada. One particular difference is handguns. In Canada handguns are a restricted firearm. This means that they can only be carried by specific individuals (police) or only in specific locations (shooting ranges). Even if one legally owns a handgun it must be stored under lock and key at all times. Night tables are not deemed secure storage.
In Canada we take self security as a vital right. Not a whimsical freedom.
